Välkommen till Inter-Nordic Guide Club, IGC!

IGC verkar för internordiskt samarbete mellan föreningar för turistguider från de nordiska länderna, Danmark, Färöarna, Finland, Island, Norge, Sverige och Åland.

IGC arbetar för att göra turistguidernas utbildning och arbetsvillkor likvärdiga och riktar i dessa avseenden rekommendationer och uttalanden till berörda myndigheter och organisationer.

IGC organiserar idag fyrtioen medlemsföreningar och tre landsförbund med 1.650 auktoriserade guider.

IGC håller varje år årsmöte med en kongress som ger tillfälle till vidareutbildning i bl a Nordenkunskap samt tar upp frågor som är angelägna för turistguidens yrke.

Welcome to the Inter-Nordic Guide Club, IGC!

IGC is working for an Inter-Nordic co-operation between the associations for tourist-guides from the Nordic countries, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Åland.

IGC is working for equal training and working conditions for the Nordic tourist-guides and provides recommendations and statements concerning tourist guides to authorities and the tourism industry.

IGC organizes today forty-one individual Tourist Guides' associations and three national federations, totally 1.650 individual members

IGC holds an annual meeting with a congress and opportunities to further education in the knowledge of the Nordic countries and queries of the tourist-guide profession.
